Nursery

Three Nursery classes are available for children from infancy through two years of age for both 9:00 am and 10:30 am services. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, educational environment for your child to enable you to worship or study with a peaceful spirit.

Children's Programs

Sunday School classes are offered for children age 2 through 5th grade during the 9:00 am worship hour. These classes introduce children to the truths of God's Word through age and grade appropriate lessons and activities taught by Christian adults.

Worship is available for preschool children (Wee Worship) and for grade school children (Jr. Worship) during the 10:30 am worship hour. Worship is at the center of everything we do in Children's Ministry: learning, fellowship, serving, telling. Kids worship with their peers through singing, praying, learning, and giving to God. On the last Sunday of each month (Family Sunday), they join their parents in adult worship in the Worship Center.

Sonbeams children's choir (for children ages 3 - Kindergarten) and Sonshine Gang children's choir (for children in grades 1st-5th) practice on Sunday evenings during the school year at 6:00 pm. Special songs and musicals are taught to the kids to help them share the good news of Christ with others.

Fellowship opportunities for children are available in a variety of programs. Open gym times, church camp, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday and Wednesday night activities provide fun times with friends.

Student Ministries

Sunday School classes are offered for Middle and High School Students during the 10:30 am worship hour. The purpose of these classes is to deepen their relationships with God. FUEL and ONEighty are the middle school and high school groups that meet for a high energy night with games, video, drama, music, something crazy, snacks, small group discussion and a message. Middle School FUEL meets on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 and meets int he gym. High School ONEighty meets on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30.

Adult Programs

P.H.D (Preparing His Disciples) 

Classes are offered for adults during both worship hours. The program seeks to present Biblical and relevant information and studies that enable people to see things from God's perspective. Our goal is to develop Christian skills that result in a character that is consistently becoming more like Christ. Classes change every 3 months, and some classes are only one month long.

Home Fellowship Groups

HFGs (Home Fellowship Groups) It is nearly impossible to know everyone in a large church, especially one with two services. However, you will feel a greater sense of "belonging" to GCC if you attend a Home Fellowship Group. Groups of 10-15 meet on Sunday evenings during the school year in a host home for discussion and fellowship. Youth group, children's activities, and nursery are all provided during HFGs on Sunday nights. (There are a few groups who meet on alternate nights.)

Fellowship Opportunities

Many special events are planned throughout the year to encourage relationship building. Bridal/Baby Showers, Prime Timers Outings (seniors group), College Care Package Ministry, Family Fun Night, Men & Boys Campout, and Retreats for Men, Women and Couples, are a few of the fellowship opportunities.
